Abilene Helps is a resource for charitable and community organizations. There are so many things an organization needs to get the word out about what they’re doing and who they are. A website, donations, volunteering, sign ups, events and if you do all this right it can be unaffordable for a lot of orgs. That’s what Abilene Helps solves. We are an integrated platform for all your group’s technology needs in one easy to understand place. From your organization page you can: link to donations portal, gather contact info from volunteers, give information about your organization, it’s goals and accomplishments, use your unique url as an advertising platform and share your events with the Abilene community.
And on top of doing all this it also seeks to database all non profit orgs in Abilene and create a community of events so groups aren’t competing for space without realizing it.

We are a managed database of all Abilene area non profits and services offered. Abilene is an amazing place. There’s so many organizations that offer services that many people move here just to get the help they need. Abilenians are a charitable group but this amount of giving poses a problem. How can local charities that don’t provide specific services help those in need find what they’re looking for? It’s a special problem that many individuals and organizations have tried to solve but out of all this effort nothing efficient and usable has risen. That’s where we come in. We use a search algorithm and interactive database to not only help people find the services they desperately need but to also help charitable organizations keep from replicating effort so money can be put to more efficient use. Because charitable organizations so often have events that roll over each other without them realizing we've created an integrated community calendar. Moreover, with premium and premium featured plans, we'll import your events from Facebook into the community calendar all without you having to do anything but sit back and watch your event attendance go up. Finally there's a centralized place for people to find out about all the events happening in Abilene!
